Publisher – Denice
VanDoren
Denice and her daughter
have lived in the area
since 2000, relocating to the Treasure Valley from Redmond, WA. With
previous business endeavors including ownership of a retail shop and
public relations/marketing communications, publishing a newspaper has
presented a great opportunity to apply that experience. The Eagle
Independent is a sister publication to the Star Independent, which
first published in March of 2005. Providing a newspaper to Eagle
residents that is truly focused on the community is very rewarding and
she is excited to publish a friendly, comprehensive news source for the
city of Eagle.
